Why Should I Join?

Do you have a Membership Badge on your page? You should!

Almost every time a potential member contacts us at NAFCA, their first question is “what are the benefits?“

There are a number of benefits to being a member of our association. The benefits are intangible and far greater than discounted credit card processing or group term life insurance “discounts”.

The real benefits are:

  • Utilize NAFCA’s name, logo and membership badge to add to your email signatures, work trucks, work jackets, websites, etc.
  • Marketing and communication through our Facebook page and various industry channels.
  • Opportunity to be published in the industry within our blog.
  • Support national service projects NAFCA manages primarily for veterans.
  • Further your industry knowledge through education NAFCA has to offer.
  • Camaraderie within our industry and with many heavy hitters from different brands.
  • Industry perspective.

Now, let’s dive deeper into these benefits.

First, utilize our name and logo.  Be sure to include our logo on your website, with a link to our website, that you are a proud member. Our logos can be downloaded here. When you download/update your website with the current membership logo for 2022, it instantly shows your customers that you are on top of your game and you are up-to-date.  Even if it is only the most recent year’s logo on your site, it provides confidence to your potential customers.
If you are not familiar with the power of back linking your site to ours, check out this blog post by our current president, Al Martins.

Second, allow us to help with your social media. We have a fairly active Facebook following. When your company posts pictures or videos from a project that you are proud of, send us a text (724-249-6379) or email with the link. We are happy to share this information with anyone who follows our page. Your customers (and potential customers) will see that you are getting recognized by us, a nationwide fence association.

Further, for particularly stand out projects, provide us with a write up that we can share on our blog. Your company being featured on our blog displays to your customers your level of professionalism and leadership within the fence industry.

Third, participate in one of our service projects. You may not have the ability to physically attend the annual Arlington National Cemetery Service Project. However, if you are a NAFCA member, you are participating in this project through your financial support.  Let your customers know that.  Additionally, if you are able to attend, share that with your audience.  The amount of goodwill generated by giving back to our Nation’s cemetery is virtually immeasurable. Further, it just feels so good to be able to give back in this way.

Fourth, there is a level of camaraderie within the fence industry you just simply do not find in other trades. Fence installation is extremely unique and varies around the country. Being part of NAFCA shows you are an elite fence professional. It allows you to rub shoulders, share ideas, and gain knowledge with the best industry has to offer.

Not too bad for only $250. Want to join? Check out more information here regarding membership and how to join.

As always, if you have any questions or are considering membership, please let us know.
