The consumer…
- Has the right to know the fence installed will be the fence that is specified.
- Has the right to know that all workers on their project will be legal documented workers.
- Has the right to an installation started when promised with weather permitting.
- Has the right to know that the installation has a labor warranty from the installing company.
- Has the right to report improper installations practices to the North American Fence Contractors Association Board of Directors.
- Has the right to have the fence installed properly and according to industry standards or better.
- Has the right to know the installing company has Workman’s Compensation Insurance and General Liability Insurance.
- Has the right to know that the member company has all licenses required by law.
Vendors Code of Ethics
- I agree to honor patents of other companies.
- I agree to follow “Country of Origin” regulations for my products.
- I agree to carry liability insurance for my products in any country where my products are sold.
- I agree to be fair in all negotiations.
- I agree to recognize and correct any defects in any products I produce.
- I agree to promote the North American Fence Contractors Association.
- I agree to deliver any goods promised.
Contractors Code of Ethics
- I agree to install the job at the date promised with weather permitting.
- I agree to install the material that is specified.
- I agree to follow standard procedures for installation that are set for the industry or better.
