Autism Caring Center Service Project 2026

Written By: Clint Iams, NAFCA Executive Director, Amity, PA

This April, we’re proud to come together with the Autism Caring Center for a NAFCA Service Project that puts safety and family first.

On Friday, April 24, volunteers will be installing a black chain-link fence for a Pennsylvania family whose child is autistic and a “runner”.

This fence isn’t just steel and fabric—it’s peace of mind, protection, and the freedom for a child to safely be a child.

This is what happens when skilled trades, generous hearts, and purpose come together.

Project details provide and install approximately 600 feet of 5 foot black vinyl chain-link. This project will include two 4 foot gates and one 10 foot gate.

We will be utilizing driven post for this project; if you’ve never had an opportunity to build chain-link on a driven post, here is your chance to learn with seasoned veterans.

DATE: Friday, April 24th, 2026 – Saturday, April 25th, 2026 (if required)
LOCATION: Canonsburg, PA
